Caroline Springs George Cross FC COVID-19 Policy

If parents, carers, guardians and staff have traveled from mainland China, Iran, Italy or Republic of Korea or been in close contact with a confirmed case of Coronavirus, special restrictions apply.


Parents, carers, guardians and staff cannot attend the Training and or games if they have:


Higher Risk

  1. Left or transited through mainland Child in the last 14 days.

  2. Left or transited through Iran on or after 1 March 2020.

  3. Left or transited through Italy or Republic of Korea on or after 5 March 2020.

  4. Been in close contact with a confirmed case of Coronavirus in the last 14 days.


Parents, carers, guardians and staff are required to notify the General Manager (Liza Djuric) if any of the above apply to themselves or their child/children and cannot attend club training as they are required to undertake self-isolation for 14 days.


Moderate Risk

  1. Left, or transited through Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore or Thailand within the past 14 days

Parents, Carers, guardians and staff are required to notify the General Manager (Liza Djuric) if any of the above apply to themselves or their child/children. and cannot attend club training as they are required to undertake self-isolation for 14 days.


Practicing good hand hygiene and sneeze/cough hygiene is the best defense against most viruses:

  1. Wash hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating, after going to the bathroom, before and after training and upon leaving the club.

  2. Cover coughs and sneezes, dispose of tissues, and use alcohol-based hand sanitiser.

  3. If unwell, avoid contact with others this includes touching, kissing, hugging and hand shaking.


We have placed hand sanitisers in the bar and bistro for the use of patrons. All toilets and changes rooms have soap dispensers for hand washing.
